When the forest sets the rhythm of the home
A small refuge tucked among the trees, a couple of Scandinavian origin, and light as the only requirement. This is how this project in Romanyà begins, where every interior decision stems from a single premise: that the forest should always be the protagonist.
The rooms have been conceived as frames. Each window, each opening, captures a fragment of the outside and brings it in like a living painting, one that shifts with the seasons, with the light of the day, with the rain falling on the leaves.
For this family from the north, light is not just another element: it is the priority. The project's entire palette has been built to accompany it. Whites and stone tones expand the sense of space and allow natural light to travel through every room unobstructed.
This chromatic neutrality is not an aesthetic end in itself, but a means to bring forward what happens outside. When the interior falls silent, the green of the forest appears in all its intensity.
A small and precise programme
Two suites conceived for rest, a study for moments of focus, and a shared area — kitchen and indoor sitting room — that holds everyday life together on the days when the forest asks you to stay under cover.
The kitchen and all the furniture have been designed bespoke by the studio. Each piece responds to the exact place it occupies, to the light it receives, to the use it will have. It is the quiet application of the method of invisible elements: an architecture that is not explained, but breathed.
Un espacio a medida de cada momento vital
Dos suites concebidas para el descanso, un despacho para los momentos de concentración y una zona común —cocina y sala de estar interior— que sostiene la vida cotidiana en los días en que el bosque pide quedarse a cubierto.
La cocina y todo el mobiliario han sido diseñados a medida por el estudio. Cada mueble responde al lugar exacto que ocupa, a la luz que recibe, al uso que tendrá. Es la aplicación silenciosa del método de los elementos invisibles: una arquitectura que no se explica, se respira.
